Fifty Shades Darker

I am finally trying to inculcate the winter feel in my wardrobe and styling (YAY!). This month has finally shaped up to be cozy enough to try my hands on the winter trends I have been wanting to work on for quite some time now.

I fashioned this look for an evening drive with my cousins. LAYERING is the key fellas. It has always been the key to ace your winter OOTD. The dilemma people go through with this trend is the fear of appearing larger than they actually are. On the contrary, layering if done right, will not only keep you warm but also help you embrace your curves and body type.

Fall in temperature results in more layers. Over this winter season you’ll witness different ways to layer . Layering is easy, convenient and FUZZY-And who does not like winter FUZZ???
This trend is a play of patterns, designs, color contrast, depth, etc. Length and material being other factors to add in while styling your desired look.

Layering is in vogue and keeps you warmer than sporting a single thick piece of clothing- the phenomenon is called INSULATION MY FRIENDS!

As for the look, I LOVE DARK SHADES SPECIALLY THE GREY(s). Though I have promised myself to try brighter trends this season, grey is a color I can not give up on. For me, the color speaks for the season itself and makes for the perfect neutral basic layer to style further.

I have styled the look with different shades of grey maintaining tonality of the whole look. Plaid scarf helps in adding color and making the whole outfit lively since wearing all grey can be a little tricky for there is a thin line between acing it or making it dull and boring.
Adding belt over scarf helps in accentuating the waistline and avoid looking disproportionate.

Other adaptations of the look can be wearing your leather jacket and knee high socks with boots instead of sneakers.

That’s all for now. Hope I was informational enough. Scroll for outfit details!
